A Walk in the Park…

Well…not always as we are reminded here in week 14 of The Success Principles.

Jack Canfield says “Be Willing to Pay the Price” in Principle 16.

I’d rather say Plan and Implement Consistently and be willing to course correct when necessary.

Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant is quoted as having said “It’s not the will to win that matters…everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win”.

How prepared are you?

There’s a monster under the bed…

Did you ever have that scary feeling as a kid? That there was a monster under the bed or in the closet?

Only one way to find out…turn on the light and look!

Success Principle #15…Experience Your Fear and Take Action Anyway.

In week 13 Jack Canfield reminds us that fear will come up if we are taking risks and getting out of our comfort zone.

Our brain naturally begins to manufacture all the things that could go wrong…this brain function is designed to keep us safe…problem is most of these fears are just not true.

Mark Twain said “I have lived a long life and had many troubles, most of which never happened”.

Is there something you’ve been wanting to do that fear is holding you back from?

Are you willing to get up, turn on the light and face the monster?

I hope so.

Just lean into it…

Week 12, Principle 14, is all about leaning into what’s possible, being open to opportunities, and venturing down an unknown path without knowing where it might lead.

Give needing to know all the answers a day, or week, or a lifetime off.

Trust more. Fear Less. Lean In.

The First Step…

Have you ever stood at the base of a tall climb, whether it be a hill or a staircase, and wondered can I do this? Then you take the first step and you’re committed and on your way.

You might pause along the way, you might even hesitate or look back then you recommit and keep going.

When you do reach the top what a feeling of satisfaction!

What if you had stayed right where you were, at the bottom, for fear of not making it to the top…of failing?

Sometimes we just don’t know what the outcome will be…but what we do know is not taking a step is just not an option.

Welcome to week 11 as we Take Action with Success Principle #13.

Do it now. Take the first step. Quit waiting for…Perfection, Inspiration, Permission, Reassurance, Someone or Something to Change, The Right Time, Mr. or Ms. Right. Quit waiting to…Lose Weight, Learn More or Get a Break.

Get Ready. Get Set. GO!

Playing Make Believe…

Remember as kids how we dressed up and played the part of ballerinas, cowgirls, cowboys, pirates and even horses…all sorts of “make believe” characters.

We built forts, we drummed on pots and pans and we lived in our “make believe” world without worrying about what people would think…without holding back.

With principle 12 in The Success Principles Jack Canfield takes us back to those days when we weren’t afraid to Act As If.

Here in week #10 you are invited to try on one of the post powerful strategies for success. As Charles F. Kettering, inventor with over 140 patents, said “believe and act as if it were impossible to fail”.

If you couldn’t fail what would you do?

If you couldn’t fail who would you be?

Believe.

I see…I see

See what you want, get what you see…welcome to week 9 and principle 11 from Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles.

This principle is all about seeing through a different lens, your creative lens.

Giving yourself permission to close your eyes and see what no-one else can see…your dreams.

Visualization is a powerful manifesting machine…all you have to do is flip the switch to ON.

Now, add some magic, get creative with images that bring your visualization to life and create a vision board…nothing like having double vision!

Imagination is everything. It’s the preview of life’s coming attractions. Albert Einstein

Fire up your imagination and unleash your inner creative….the world is waiting for your Coming Attraction!

Release the Brakes

Here we are…week number 8, Success Principle 10, and Jack Canfield invites us to…RELEASE THE BRAKES!

As scary as this sounds releasing the brakes and getting out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens.

I’m not ego bashing, well maybe a little, but what are you saying to yourself? Someone’s already done that! What if it doesn’t work? What makes you an expert? What will people say? Play it safe. Don’t rock the boat.

I could go on and on or perhaps you can reply to this email and share some of your self protection talk.

What if it worked?

Release the Brakes and find out….

Success Leaves Clues

Welcome to week 7 and principle 9 from The Success Principles by Jack Canfield.

Success Leaves Clues…..

Have a idea, a dream or a goal?

The good news is someone has most likely had success in the area you’re interested in: business; health; parenting; art; travel…limitless.

Don’t let “not knowing what to do” stop you from creating a new future for yourself and your family.

Be curious. Be resourceful. Follow successes clues……

Chew 45 Times…

In order to get the full benefits of our food we must chew each bite 45 times…don’t rush and swallow things whole…Jack Canfield reminds us to “chunk it down”. Here we are…week 6 and Success Principle 8 Chunk it Down.

In other words don’t attempt to eat the whole garden (I’m a vegetarian) all at once.

The wise and witty Mark Twain wrote “The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex, overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.”

Dream big. Connect your heart to your goals…and chew 45 times.

Power Move

Here we are …week five and Success Principle 7 from Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles.

Unleash the Power of Goal-Setting!

I know what you’re thinking. Goal setting doesn’t work and you are absolutely 100% correct and here’s why.

Your goals are not written down…if your goals are in your head they are just ideas.

Your goals are not specific…the difference between losing weight and losing 20 lbs. is obvious.

Your goals don’t inspire you…your WHY attached to your goals gives it rocket fuel.

Make your Power Move today…write it down, be specific, inspired and remember to allow yourself to stretch and dream big.

PS: Keep you goals handy.

PSPS: Look at your goals daily.
