Workshops

I have been in the seat that you are now, as a business owner and an entrepreneur.  It’s exciting and it’s scary at the same time.

Like a lot of you I worked for companies large and small before I decided to go into business for myself.

Why do we decide to go to work for ourselves? It’s usually one of two reasons…we are so passionate about something that we just can’t help ourselves or we worked for someone that just didn’t seem to have their act together and you started to think…something like “if he/she can do this… without a clue…I sure as heck can be at least as successful and probably even better”.

Does one of those sound familiar to you?  Mine was the latter of the two.

My area of expertise, for over 30 years, was in the area of advertising, marketing and brand development.  I had a very successful advertising agency with billings up to 3.5 million dollars and had the privilege of working with many small to medium size companies and brilliant entrepreneurs.

Then came 2008. Remember 2008?  In November 2008 I started getting calls every day, I’m not exaggerating, from clients asking me to cancel everything…stop all projects pull all ads.  Ok.  I understood.  They were scared.  A little panicky, but I thought this too will pass, I’ve weathered storms before, I can weather this one.

Anyone have anything like that happen to them?

It didn’t pass and I had a choice to make.  I could give up or I could figure out how to continue to do what I love to do and that’s help business owners and entrepreneurs grow and maintain strong healthy businesses.

I chose to continue to do what I love to do, I just had to do it a little differently.

My clients had to make a similar choice …give up or change the way they were doing things to adjust to what has been coined the “new economy” by some.

This is for you if you experienced the pain of one day having a vibrant vital business only to find yourself on the brink of losing it all…almost overnight.

The great news is you can still have a great business that supports you and your employees, if you have them and your clients and still love what you do.

Does that sound good to you?  Great!

It’s all about Zen.  Business Zen.

The Zen of Business Attitude.

The Zen of Business Authenticity.

The Zen of Business Alignment.

The Zen of Business Action.

And how you can become the Zen Master of your business.

The Zen of Business Attitude is important because as the leader and Zen Master of your company it is you who sets the tone for yourself, your employees and your customers.  There’s an old Zen Master saying…Crappy in, crappy out.

The Zen of Business Authenticity is important because now more than ever you need to have a clear and honest connection with your customers.  Your customers need to know on a deep and trusting level that you are who you say you are and you will deliver on your promise to them.

The Zen of Business Alignment is all about making sure that your Attitude and your Authenticity are in complete Alignment.  This assures everyone that your business touches that they can expect a consistent and reliable product or service from you.

The Zen of Business Action is setting in motion the things that need to be done to continue to grow a healthy and sustainable business that will support you in every way.  Financially.  Personally. Socially. Emotionally. Spiritually.

It was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s commitment for a vision of a better life for minorities and the underserved in our country that catapulted the Civil Rights Movement in the 60’s.

Will you commit to your vision to make a difference in your world?

The Zen of Business Attitude is a five-step process where we work on Vision, Mission, Core Values, Commitments and Expectations.  Remember…Crappy in, crappy out.

The Zen of Business Authenticity is a unique branded system where we perform a Brand Autopsy™ on your business.  We open your business up and we look deep into its heart and soul to determine what it is that you do differently, it’s what no one else does, and it’s what makes you unique?  This step is all about clarity.  If you don’t know how will anyone else know?

The Zen of Business Alignment is making sure that the thread we have sown through Vision, Mission, Core Values, Commitments and Expectations is in Alignment with our Brand.  It is the true test for Authenticity and Zen Mastery.

The Zen of Business Action is putting your Aligned Attitude and Authentic Brand to work to make your business hum!  You will:  work in areas of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats; create Goals for Health, Wealth, Relationships, Career/Business, Spiritual, Charity, Experiences and Legacy; examine your relationship with money, determine your Ideal Client and how to Market to them.

You will reunite your passion for your business with clarity and focus, everything will be in one easy to use place and you will be on track to grow a healthy sustainable business with the ease of a Zen Master.
